Relationships, not Transactions Make the Difference.Every project starts with a strong clear and up-front relationship. It doesn’t matter if its two years or two weeks. If you don’t trust us, or feel that we could come back and help you again, we won’t take the business.
Business ConsultingSituation: A large wireless carrier needed to develop a methodology to integrate their wireless network build out approach with their new supply chain-planning platform. Without a planning framework, the client was experiencing excess levels of expensive and obsolete components and spending a great deal of time expediting over-the-ocean movements of custom-made transmission equipment.
Resolution: Turnswing’s Business Consulting team worked with the client’s internal consulting staff to map the current business processes in order to determine the gaps that could be filled by refining processes and acquiring supplemental planning technologies. Turnswing was able to add value in its focus on making sure that at a baseline level technology was not made a crutch for broken processes. Once business processes were remediated, our team was able to confidently recommend a technology and deployment approach using tools from JDA Software Group’s supply chain suite.
Situation: One of the fastest growing mail order pharmacies in the Midwest needed an integrated commerce, reporting, and CRM platform in a short time frame. Turnswing’s project team worked closely with the pharmacy’s executive team to generate a “business release” plan with which the full technology footprint could be deployed in 120 days via outsourcing all project management to Turnswing.
Resolution: Turnswing delivered on its timeline and budget commitments; we rolled out a system with which this client was able to grow its business 100% year over year primarily via client retention This retention level would have been unreachable had not the Turnswing-led project included business process, logistics execution, CRM-optimized loyalty marketing principles, and a rock-solid e-commerce platform.
IT and IntegrationSituation:A large consumer products company was looking to migrate its transaction system and in order to do so, a significant amount of ETL work was required in order to create an automated transitional feed from their legacy system to their new planning tool. The migration involved several geographic regions and individual timelines that required a flexible and scalable approach.
| Resolution: Turnswing’s integration team was able to deliver a comprehensive extraction, transformation, and loading (“ETL”) solution through three work-streams: (1) data analysis and mapping, (2) data cleansing and validation, and (3) deployment of a comprehensive a set of SQLServer SSIS packages. More than just executing a set of tactical technical tasks, Turnswing was able to add value by successfully conducting the client’s first data discovery exercise of this scale and worked closely with the business via testing, to validate both the accuracy and coverage of deliverables. |
eLearning and TrainingSituation: A large company needed to mobilize a decentralized workforce around a new technology. When a first pass at circulating an automated slide show failed, Turnswing offered an alternative option, a web-based solution integrated within the client’s Learning Management System.
Resolution: After reviewing the client’s needs Turnswing determined that the client needed both a web-based and a face-to-face training approach to ensure success. Turnswing was able to add value because we brought content-masters to the table and were able to deliver the in-class and eLearning training necessary to ensure mastery of the topic areas.
Situation: A company was concerned about performance post-rollout. Specifically they were seeking “ROI Insurance ”or support to ensure current and new employees were effective after the excitement and attention of their implementation subsided.
Resolution: Turnswing worked with this company to design a both focused “introduction” and “refresher” curriculum. Turnswing was able to add value not only through its innovative web-based intranet/internet deployment approach, but in the fact that the content was developed by experts focused on what the employees needed to know and understand in order to be effective within that organization – not the features and function of one particular software solution.
